Important Information for Nanny Applicants

Thank you for your interest in working with our agency! We want to ensure that all applicants understand our current scheduling requirements and pay structure before applying.

Availability Requirements

All nannies must be available to work anytime between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. While this does not mean you will always be scheduled for these full hours, flexibility is essential.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when many families worked remotely, there was a shift in demand toward shorter hours (such as 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM). However, as more professionals return to the office due to changes in federal policies, families now require caregivers with broader availability. To be placed through our agency, you must be able to work within this 7 AM – 6 PM timeframe.

Compensation Based on Experience

Your hourly rate is determined by your level of experience and qualifications:

• Less than 5 years of professional nanny experience: $25 – $28 per hour (for 1 to 3 children).
• More than 5 years of experience: You can negotiate your rate, starting at $27 per hour.

Your education, certifications, and specialized skills may also influence your earning potential.

I have answered all of the above questions truthfully. As a nanny, I understand that when being employed by Need A New Nanny Yesterday, I am agreeing to only accept nanny positions through Need A New Nanny Yesterday, LLC. I am not allowed to work separately with clients met through the agency without agency being notified first. If client is to ask nanny to for future childcare at later date, the agency is to be notified immediately. Client is to contact agency for future jobs. Nanny is not to be used as a go between.

I understand if working with clients without properly informing the agency, I will then be required to pay back the agency fee and will be fined up to $500 in penalties for violating the rules and agreements at Need A New Nanny Yesterday, LLC.

1. Contracted nanny acknowledges that when hired as a nanny, that he/she is legally required to inform Need A New Nanny Yesterday, LLC of any clients that request ongoing help with childcare.
2. Clients are obligated to pay all agency fees before employing a nanny that has been referred by Need a New Nanny Yesterday, LLC.
3. It is understood that if childcare services are requested by a client or former client, all parties, nanny and client, are required to inform Need a New Nanny Yesterday, LLC.
4. It is both unethical and unlawful for a client to employ contracted nannies unbeknownst to Need a New Nanny Yesterday, LLC.
5. There will be an enforced fine of $$$ to both parties (Nanny and Client) if this occurs. Failure to comply will result in legal action.
6. Nanny must be Covid vaccinated and comply with all CDC guidelines.
7. Nanny must maintain a clean criminal background, clean driving record, and agree to random criminal background checks.
8. Nanny must inform Need A New Nanny Yesterday, LLC of any changes in criminal or driving record within 24hrs of occurrence. Failure to do so will result in immediate termination.
9. Nanny must maintain a current/unexpired CPR certification.
10. Nanny will arrive 15 minutes early to all nanny jobs to ensure punctuality.
